Melanie is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Aesthetic Nurse Injector who brings 18 years of combined nursing and advanced practice nursing to Ascend. She is committed to bringing the latest techniques of the aesthetic industry and science-based wellness treatments to Ascend. She combines medicine and aesthetics to improve skin health, functional wellness, and overall longevity. She offers a personalized, caring approach to client care, ensuring each client is well informed and comfortable with the treatment plan. Her goal is to help each client live their best life.
Melanie previously worked for a plastic surgeon and it is a passion that continues to grow. She strives to help her clients feel like the very best version of themselves and is committed to learning the newest techniques of the rapidly evolving aesthetic and wellness industry.
Melanie is also committed to helping bring recovery to men and women suffering from substance abuse and addiction through compassionate, individualized care without judgment for addiction. Her broad knowledge base and passion for evidence-based practices keeps her aesthetic and wellness techniques science-based.
Heather Russell, APRN

With over 19 years of combined experience in nursing and advanced practice nursing, Heather is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Aesthetic Nurse Injector. While practicing as a family nurse practitioner, she longed for a work environment that promoted positivity and creativity. That is when she was introduced to health and wellness and aesthetics, generating a perfect fit!
Through her advanced knowledge, she can incorporate proficiency to create a more comprehensive cosmetic plan, allowing the safety of aesthetics and wellness to be upheld to the highest standards.
Her main goal is to address each patient’s overall health while promoting self-confidence in women and men, hoping that her passion and care inspire others to feel and look their best.
Alyson Robertson

Alyson is committed to her art of permanent cosmetics and beauty. She offers a warm and inviting approach to ensure each client is well informed and comfortable with their planned procedure. Aly received her certification from Arkansas Permanent Cosmetics Institute and is currently working to obtain her instructor's license.
